Starting with the 2005-06 Winter Session, Elite has recognized its Scholar Athletes:

There are 3 Awards:

1) USA Swimming's All-American Scholar-Athlete Award

Requirements: a) 3.5 grade point average

b) 1 individual Sectional qualifying time

2) Elite "Gold" Scholar-Athlete Award

Requirements: a) all A's & 1 B or the equivalent

b) 1 Junior Olympic qualifying time

(within the age group that a swimmer

finishes the season in)

3) Elite "Teal" Scholar-Athlete Award

Requirements: a) all A's & B's or the equivalent

b) 1 Silver qualifying time

(within the age group that a swimmer

finishes the season in)
