MEET HOSTS:
As we stated in the
meet information, there are no bags in the pool area we are going to be quite
strict in the morning and afternoon about limiting swimmers to the first three rows of bleachers and about
not allowing parents to save seats. In
return, we will have marshals stationed in the gym with a loud speaker to
announce (but not marshal) events. We will also update white boards in the gym
with events and heats. We are encouraging people to think that the
swimmers will spend most of their time in the gym. Rutgers has also told us
that chairs are allowed in the gym so parents can be more comfortable if they
decide to hang out there. Please pass this information on to your parents.
As a reminder, we provide one timer in each lane for all events, including distance events (1000 and 1650) but we ask that each swimmer in the distance events provide a second timer. Swimmers DO NOT need to provide timers for 500's or 400 IM's.
