JOIN THIS
YEAR’S “ELITE-A-THON”
AND RAISE MONEY
FOR YOUR CHARITY!
All Marlins (Black & Teal), Wavebusters (Gold, Black & Teal), Senior
Preps, and Seniors are invited to swim for charity, Saturday, May 30, 2009,
from 2:30-4:30 p.m., at Morristown-Beard School.
This special event, which is completely
voluntary, will benefit the charity of your choice. There is no minimum, and no contribution is too small.
To
participate, simply:
q
choose a
charity ( for example, “Save the Children” @www.savethechildren.org),
q
ask family
and friends to sponsor you: a sponsors’ list is attached (for safety’s sake, DO NOT GO DOOR-TO-DOOR
AND ASK STRANGERS),
q
swim between 2:30
pm-4:30 pm on Saturday, May 30
q
stick around
afterwards for snacks and drinks,
q
report back
to your sponsors, ask them to provide you a check in the name of the charity
you have designated,
q
report the
sum of your donations to Tad Deatly at filmmaker1991@comcast.net
q
thank
everyone who sponsored you, and
q
mail your donations to your designated charity by June 19th.
